Come learn traditional archery at the Learning Lab with Lewis Berns, an elementary school teacher, certified archery instructor and outdoor educator with a Masters in Special Education. This is a powerful, exciting way to develop a child's confidence, physical awareness and executive functioning skills! Lewis is passionate about distilling high level mechanics and technique into ultra simple, approachable steps that will build proficiency in even the youngest of archers. Absolutely no experience necessary! All archery specific equipment is provided, but participants are expected to arrive with weather appropriate clothing conducive to archery practice as the seasons change: Beanies (no hanging flaps or tassels), neck gaiters (no scarfs), snug fitting gloves w/ fingers (no mittens) and outerwear that minimizes your child's silhouette (nothing oversized).
